Today 100 years ago the RMS Titanic left on her maiden voyage.
Her Journey began on the morning of April 10th, 1912 at the port in Southampton, England, where 914 passengers boarded the Titanic between 9:30am and 11:30am. Then at noon, she left the port of Southampton, and began her maiden voyage. First stop was in Cherbourg, France, where she arrived at 6.30pm and departed again at 8:10pm heading to Queenstown, Ireland (now known as Cobh).
At these stops, a few people got off and a few hundred boarded, by the time she left Queenstown at 1:30pm on April 11, 1912 heading for New York, she was carrying 2 200 people, both passengers and crew.
