Yesterday was mother’s day, I had the usual tenderness that comes along with any mother related day. You see my mom passed away a few years ago. I still miss her everyday, it does get better… but no amount of time will ever heal ‘not having my mom’. We were truly blessed to have my mom in our lives.
So to my mom… you were the best we could have asked for, and even though you’re not with us anymore. We thank God for you everyday. Thank you for always standing strong for us. We love you and miss you so much. <3
If Roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me
Place them in my Mother’s arms
And tell her they’re from me
Tell her I love her and miss her
And when she turns to smile
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday

Because I am missing her today.
