Medusa’s Coil by H.P Lovecraft – Book Review

“Medusa’s Coil” is a short story by H. P. Lovecraft and Zealia Bishop. It was first published in Weird Tales magazine in January 1939, two years after Lovecraft’s death.

In Medusa’s coil, an old man tells the story of how he (Antoine de Russy) ended up alone on an abandoned plantation named ‘Riverside’. He tells of his son Denis and of his infatuation with a priestess ‘Tanit-Isis’ (Marceline Bedard).

I am fascinated with the description of the painting of Marceline, I have a deep desire to see this painting, to know what they knew. 🙂 Yes yes, I know it was written as a work of fiction.

The question is do you believe in the superstitions and legends, the creepy things that we think aren’t real. Are they real?
