3 Day – Military Diet

Today I started on the 3 Day Diet 😦 The aim is to experiment with different diets over the next few months to see what works and what doesn’t. But no telling if I’ll be able to stick through the next 3 Days 🙂 let alone a few months of dieting. 

The 3 Day Diet

This is a low-calorie diet that will assist you in dropping weight fast. It claims that you can lose 4.5 kg in 3 days, unfortunately the weight might return once off the diet.

Note: Calorie amounts are approximate 

DAY 1 : Total Calories: 870

Breakfast Lunch Dinner
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 1/2 Grapefruit or Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 slice toast with 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Cup of Tuna
  • 1 slice toast
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 3 oz. any lean meat
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 medium apple
  • Black coffee / tea / water

DAY 2 : Total Calories: 1149

Breakfast Lunch Dinner
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 1 egg (any style)
  • 1 slice toast
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup 2% cottage cheese
  • 5 crackers
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 2 beef franks / hot dogs
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup broccoli / cabbage
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Black coffee / tea / water

DAY 3 : Total Calories: 859

Breakfast Lunch Dinner
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 5 regular crackers
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • 1 slice toast
  • Black coffee / tea / water
  • 1 cup tuna
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup cauliflower
  • 1 cup melon
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
  • Black coffee / tea / water

!!! This diet is not sustainable and should never be used for more than 3 days !!!
